Everyone arrived and Dot, our judge, had great fun looking at all the children in their beautifully decorated Easter hats. She carefully selected the winner, but everyone got a prize!  The Hall looked really pretty, decorated throughout with chicks, bunnies and eggs.

Then fortified with hot drinks and hot cross buns the Village families began the hunt for Easter tokens starting with the first clue -

Up to Wire Cut you must go
To the bin that helps in snow

Back after successful clue solving that enabled tokens to be collected and then exchanged for Easter eggs, everyone enjoyed a lunch of sausages and onions, cake and coffee.

Frensham Food Fair

Saturday 10th November 2012 in the Marindin Hall

The Marindin Hall and Frensham Village Shop are joining forces to host a food fair.  The hope is to raise awareness of all the great food that can be purchased in our Village Shop and at the same time add some funds towards restoration of the Marindin Hall.

This will be a fantastic way to start the festive season.  A chance to get ahead of yourself and stock up early with great Christmas gifts.  We will have a wonderful range food and drink from Frensham Village Shop suppliers, available for you to try and buy.  Take this opportunity to meet the producers behind the food you enjoy.  There will be activities, demonstrations a raffle and a quiz.
